Atlas and the Astronaut

Hey look, I remembered to write something. 

We’re full steam ahead on recording Pleasures - the first “actual” song on the EP. It’s all coming along swimmingly. 

We’ve gotten Casey’s bass part pretty much down, as well as most of Matt’s guitar work. On Tuesday, we’ll (hopefully) record most of Luke’s final drum work, then move onto layering more vocals and proper-hardcore mixing.

We’ve had a blast at the last four shows. At the moment, we have no upcoming shows lined up, as we’re currently in the process of recording our first EP entitled Waveform Collapse. We’re hoping to have it done in the next handful of months. 

I’ll be keeping a diary of the EP recording process, or at least, when I remember to post. Hell, there might even be videos. I guess we’ll see. Keep checking back. 

PDX Pop Now! is just around the corner (well, not really, but whatever), and we’ve submitted Uncle Elephant for their compilation CD; send good vibes so that we might make it on the tracklist! But boy, wouldn’t it be great to actually play the show.
